혜 HYE

우리 나라는 현재 다양한 분야들에서 세계우위를 차치하며
한류를 통한 국가 브랜드이미지는 그 어느 때보다도 상승하고
있으나 우리의 고유한 문화와 예술을 알릴 수 있는 고부가가치의
패션상품은 매우 제한적입니다.
이에 지난 30여년간 대학의 연구실에서 우리의 아름다운 전통의 미와
예술을 패션을 통해 표현해보고자 다양한 전시와 연구들을
해왔던 작업들을 상품화하여 ‘혜’를 통해 조심스럽게 선보이고자 합니다.
이번에 선보이는 ‘혜’는 한국을 방문한 외국인들에게 한국의 고유한
미를 간직하고 애용할 수 있는 경량화한 고부가가치의 패션문화 상품이
될 것이며, 내국인들에는 우리 선조들의 얼과 예술이 담긴 패션을
착용함으로써 자부심을 갖게 하고 우리의 문화를 알리는
메신저 역할을 하게 될 것입니다.
